Hardscape & Pavers

Patios, walkways and walls built to hold up in South Florida heat and rain.

Patios, walkways, driveways, and walls are only ever as good as what sits underneath them — and that's the part most people never see and most shortcuts quietly skip. We build hardscape on a properly prepared base with real drainage designed in, so the surface stays flat, level, and tight instead of settling, heaving, shifting, or sprouting weeds through the joints a year down the road.

The visible layer is what catches your eye: the pattern, the material, the color, the clean cuts and crisp edges. That craftsmanship matters and we take it seriously. But the excavation, the compacted sub-base, the bedding, and the drainage beneath it are what decide whether the project still looks that good in five years. We treat both halves as the actual job, because they genuinely are.

That foundation work is even more critical here than in most of the country. South Florida's flat lots, high water table, and torrential summer rain put constant pressure on anything built on the ground. Skip the base and drainage and pavers will heave, settle unevenly, and trap standing water on top. Build them right and the same surface shrugs off heat, downpours, and years of hard use without complaint.

We handle the full range — backyard patios and pool decks, front walkways, paver driveways, and retaining or seat walls that give a space structure and define how you actually use it. Edges are locked with proper restraints, joints are filled and stabilized to resist weeds and washout, and materials are chosen to take South Florida's heat and rain without fading or breaking down prematurely.

The payoff is hardscape that looks sharp against the landscape and holds its line for the long haul — a real outdoor living space you can use hard, built to stay true instead of quietly becoming next year's repair project.

Built for South Florida

Why It Matters Here

Flat lots, a high water table, and torrential summer rain make drainage the make-or-break under any South Florida hardscape. Skip it and pavers heave, settle, and pool water. We build the base and drainage to handle Delray and Boca's wet season so the surface stays true — and looks sharp against a coastal landscape.

Our Process

1

Excavate

We dig to the right depth and shape the grade for drainage.

2

Base

Sub-base and bedding go in and get compacted in lifts.

3

Lay

Pavers or stone are set to pattern with clean cuts and edges.

4

Finish

Joints are filled and stabilized, edges locked, and the site cleaned.

Frequently Asked

Do pavers hold up better than poured concrete here?

For many South Florida yards, yes — pavers flex with ground movement instead of cracking, and a single damaged one can be swapped without redoing the whole surface.

Will weeds grow between the pavers?

We use joint stabilizing that resists weeds and washout. It dramatically cuts the weeds and shifting you see with a basic sand-set install.
